Just curious: how many people need the touch screen on a laptop and why? I have two laptops with touchscreen and I never use the touch part.

I agree. If it is 2 in 1, touchscreen makes sense but not in laptop.

Would this run World of Warcraft or would I need an actual "gaming" laptop with a better graphics card?

This will be able to run WoW just fine. You may need to adjust the graphic settings in the game.

I'm surprised this one isn't getting more attention, it seems to be a decent deal, has 1920 x 1080 res and a backlit keyboard.

I don't know if this is a better deal though [officedepot.com]

Same here it shows the price as $499 but in checkout it goes up to 800. Stays that way up to final checkout too...and when I chose pick up in store.. WTF is going on with these websites this year..I can't get Best Buy put COD in my cart..Game Stop is on a constant loop and now this...I guess this Black Thursday thing is new to them.
