This is a pretty specific need to be posting about but hoping someone else can find a deal on something they are after using the same logic... Been passively looking for a generator, like the idea of an inverter style generator so the engine doesn't always have to run at 3,600RPM, quieter more fuel efficient... Decided I like the Champion 100263 "3400-Watt Dual Fuel RV Ready Portable Inverter Generator with Electric Start" pretty much these always sell for $1,100-$1k, lowest price on Amazon ever has been $875, for me I would have to pay tax still so totals ~$945, on Acme regular price today is $1,029 - 11% coupon (WESALUTEYOU
= $113.19), + $0 Tax + $0 shipping = $915.81. Figuring there will be many other deals to be made for other heavy equipment but I just noticed how I can work this out for this Generator.
Note a stupid and irritating part of the design of these dual fuel generators is there is an internal battery you need to maintain; the generator will not start at all if the battery is not charged!!!
Even pull start! I believe this is likely due to an electrically operated solenoid used by the propane inlet??? Very inconvenient!!
