Last deal at $879.99 made front page. This is one of the only outstanding deals so far from newegg for black friday. Time to return the one I bought for $879 LMAO

If you have a microcenter nearby, it's already this price and comes bundled with a discounted MB

If you don't know what it means, you don't need this CPU.

Thanks, I didn't realize MicroCenter had it on sale as well. Unfortunately, by the time you factor in tax, it's still much more expensive than getting it from Newegg (unless Newegg charges tax in your area too).

The motherboard bundles only discount $30, which will also quickly get eaten up by tax. I think it might be better for most people to get a sale/bundle from Newegg.

Pro tip: 2 jobs per hardware thread so you can have one job running on CPU while another is waiting on disk I/O

Just curious, where did you buy yours from? Newegg? Were you able to return it?

No, I bought it from amazon. Return was as easy as clicking a few buttons in my account and dropping it off at the UPS Store. I'll be out $10 to ship back, but I'll save $100 from newegg in the deal (no tax for me with newegg either). I expect amazon will have a refund on my store card within a week.
