Did anyone from the last deal actually get a refurbished unit? Or is this just to dodge pricing policy?

I purchased the 65 on Sunday from buydig and can confirm mine arrived and was brand new. i received it on weds via fedex and already have it on the wall. The CC was billed and the charge said said beachcam as they are the same company, same warehouse.
Did you buy a refurbished one? Does it say refurbished on the invoice? Did it come brand new?

Reminder this model doesn't have Dolby Atmos and I believe the built in app is the only way to currently get Dolby Vision.

Nope. $1299 is for the 55" inch version of the OLED. What makes you think it was another model?

I believe they were talking about yesterdays deal for a 65" LG that was $1299.

I was all set to buy the Sony xbr900 65" at $1799. At $1999 this seems too good to pass up. I can get add'l protection if use my cc.

65" OLED for under $2K AND has a really nice implementation for the built-in apps.... I bit. (Make it 9 sold now)

Was trying to convince myself to go with the 75" M series Vizio, but I think this will be a much better TV in the end.

edit: OMG, just noticed I've been lurking here since 2006 and this was my first actual post... lol

I️'ve read that if you primarily watch news channels or sports like ESPN, you put yourself at greater risk for burn-in long term. Can anyone else comment? Those channels typically have static graphics at the bottom of the screen that don't change. I'm leaning against OLED at this time for that reason. Seems like OLEDs are best for gaming and 4K movies. Thoughts?

Dolby Vision is standard across all LG OLED's. Although the B7 doesn't have onboard Atmos processing, it does pass through Atmos with the latest firmware. All TV's really need a soundbar and quite honestly whether a TV has onboard Atmos processing or not really shouldn't matter. I was leaning towards the C7 but I rather save the $300 and spend it on a decent soundbar.

I wish I have not purchased last year model the curve C6 for $1700 , I would have purchased this. Is hard to sell a used oled because of the high price tag.
