Linksys AC2600 Router for $89.98 + Free Shipping Online and at B&M at Sam's Club on 11/11

Sam's Club is having their big November one-day sale this Saturday. Stores open at 7am and the website has free shipping on the items starting at midnight EST.

Seems like a pretty good price on a AC2600 router. Looks like Amazon and B&H Photo are above $150 on this same model.

Is this a better value than the Netgear Nighthawk X4S that will be $130 @ Staples on BF?

Is AC2600 the only model #, is this EA8500? Easy parental control? Can I stop kids' devices without stopping mine, and thermostat, etc.? Thx...

Value is up for you to decide, but the X4S is the better performer. Range and throughput are much better, and it has a few more future-proofing features. Unless you're actively using more than 10 AC WiFi devices, which would be better handled by a tri-band router, it's probably the best there is. The only downside is the software, which is old looking and somewhat limited compared to some other brands.

If you have gigabit internet, strenuous networking needs, and an extra $40, go with Netgear. If you just need a new router with better speeds, get the Linksys.

I recently bought the TP-Link Archer C3200
(TP-Link AC3200 Wireless Wi-Fi Tri-Band Gigabit Router (Archer C3200) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00YY3X...bAbAX0BYTP)

Is this one from Sam's club better? Any idea how the range would compare? Thank you guys in advance, I'm a rookie with this stuff.

This went as low as $50 about 2-3 weeks ago, so not really a good deal. I have problem with this unit, wifi connection drops so often it's ridiculous.

I agree with GeraldN. The X4S is a better router and worth the extra money. $130 is a great deal. I paid $199 last year.

I'm thinking about buying that same router you bought. Hows the range ? Waiting on BF to see if Best Buy will have it for that price or lower. I have some rewards, and gift cards to spend. Linksys isnt cutting it anymore.

Mine works great. Did you update to the latest firmware? I didn't.
