Not really HDR, HDR 10 support is misleading and a marketing gimmick - https://www.kitguru.net/periphera...isleading/

i'm on a 32" and using 128% scaling as it is. Anything further and i think i'd want to kill myself. mouse cursor becomes cartoonish - older app menus become messed up/text off screen, etc.

Strange, never heard of such issues as using scaling just makes everything larger so its readable. Works great on Macbook Retina screens etc. Are you using Windows 10 to scale as that is much better than Windows 7

I use 3 of these for work. Definitely usable and the amount of space you gain compared to say 2560x1440 is very significant. I don't use scaling at all on Windows 7/10

Sigh these marketing departments...FYSA this is not real HDR is just supports HDR10 input and will try its best to display it despite not being bright , having local dimming or the color support/accuracy. The UP2718Q is real HDR (Hence its price) the U2718Q is not.

also from their page

*Dell's HDR feature has been designed with a PC user in mind and supports specifications that are different from existing TV standards for HDR.

That is true for any HDR display while streaming. None of the Streaming services, including Netflix, HULU or Amazon prime, don't support HDR streaming in Windows 10 PC, no matter what the HDR standard is in Monitor because of the limitations of Windows 10.
This Monitor is more of a gaming HDR display and supports HDR in PC gaming and when used with Consoles as well.
