the one i got before didn't have USB ports and was only $20. is this the new version?

I'm assuming you got the BGE70. That one is less efficient and has no USB so I assume the BGE90M is newer. Both are rated 125VA but the BGE70 gets about 62mins @ 30w while the BGE90M gets 101mins @ 30w.

EDIT: Correction: the BGE70 has a 4200mAh battery while the BGE90M has a 9000mAh battery.

Yes, this is designed to power networking devices such as routers and modems (most of which only have 2 prongs). The most it can handle is 75 watts. Great for people who have wireless devices.

what about if i have 50000 watts of battery backup?
