wonder how this compares to the hitachi listed a few days ago. Thinking of expanding my shop, and though I don't need portable the small footprint when not in use is appealing

If you lookup reviews, this saw is well regarded as functionally similar, but still superior to the Hitachi. It's definitely considered one of the top, if not *the* top, job site table saw(s) on the market.

It seems a lot of reviewers have said it can't be directly compared to a cabinet saw, but it's the closest you'll get in this category.

I've been waiting for this saw to drop down to $400 for a while. I almost bit on the Hitachi from a few days ago, but I'm glad I waited.

This saw is considered one of the best job site saws available. My local Craigslist has some of these used for over $300, this is a good deal.

I've a kobalt table saw but been eyeing the dewalt table saw .. Just coz I'm a sucker for dewalt .. hard time making the decision ..

$300 would have been price to pull the trigger .. Just my budget.. the price is competitive even as it's now

I bought the planer from this seller, now this Frown ?
I wish it was an Amazon deal for the free returns.
I think I'll wait for an Amazon BF deal.

Thoughts?

Worth returning the Hitachi? I paid $280 after a lower coupon, so this is significantly more expensive at $410.
