Bought one of these last time this was posted here for $470 via NewEgg eBay. Awesome card, same performance as full size 1080 on my micro build. Definitely recommend.

So performance-wise this functions identical to lets say a 1080 Fe? If so then the only difference is size? And if this is all to be true then are there any issues with heat or cooling rather? I had to edit this I just remembered to ask is there also a considerable issue with fan noise? I don't really notice it with my 1080 Fe, then again it is sitting inside a Cooler Master HAF 932.

Reviews say this card runs cooler and quieter then Fe while performing slightly better, but probably not as quite as some full size cards. Has limited overclocking ability but that's not why you buy a card like this. As with many other cards some users report coil whine.

Personally I don't think it's ever worth SLI. Sell your 1080 and buy a Ti.

I have a 1080FE SLI setup and love it... when it works. I can get 150 frames on max settings at 2k on just about any game. Not sure I'd want to SLI 2 cards that aren't blower style though.

If you're using a tight (Like an itx) case, you may be better off with a blower style (FE) card... but otherwise, this is a great little card.

So far most my experiences with blower style cards have been pretty low. I do get what you mean but I also doubt many blower cards would even fit in an ITX.

As far as this card though, it's pretty nice for the size. Loving mine.

I paid 390 for my gtx 1080 earlier this year. This card was around 470 480 in the first half of this year when I was building my current rig. Dont think it is that good of a deal.

In the past I've had 3 Sapphire HD 6950's in a tri fire set up. When it worked, it worked good. I wound up getting a like new 1080 FE for $400 over 6 months ago. I want more capability though...
