I was considering this and then saw the TD, anyone help me understand why this isn't a good deal?

edit: last time this was around for $40 No-Rebate, I see a lot of positive votes then

I think I will pull the trigger on this.
So far the best deal I've seen on a modular PSU at 700+ watt.
Cool design for those who get bored with Corsair/Seasonic/Evga similar look.

Unless you need this much wattage (you probably don't), there's no reason to get this unit instead of something smaller but of better quality.

Also it's only semi-modular.

Never cheap out on the PSU. It's one of the only 2 parts that is connected to and can take out everything else with it if it goes.

Pretty is one thing. Functional is another. Here's a good bit of info...
