Thanks! I've used your code. I needed multiples and it stacked across all of them!

Just a note for anyone else looking at this, the XT1768 (this phone) has a VZW pre-paid variant of XT1767, That will work for all GSM carriers aside from VZW postpaid or republic wireless (they check model numbers through their software). Sprint is also out as not GSM. Most any other carrier, you can get the XT1767 for $40 and an unlock code for $2 and you've got the same phone for a lot less.

This is the unlocked version, which typically retails for $129. The branded versions are the ones that can be found for $40.

See my post above. The unlocked prepaid version isn't viable on VZW postpaid (without paying extra fees) or republic wireless.

Yes, there is a 40 dollar version of this phone that walmart/target sells (verizon model). For 2 dollars you can unlock it to work on most carriers, but NOT all), check the threads on the 40 dollar versions and look at their wiki, to figure out if the 40 dollar would work for you or not. Some people have problems connecting with all carriers even with the 129-99 version in this thread, read amazon user reviews for info on that ... but this version is very good, I'm not knocking it at all.

Just research it to see which one you can live with at the price point you want.

This phone was $99 everywhere when it first came out. Republic Wireless had it for less. Now it's $130? No good BF sales on the E4.

Anyone know if the unlocked version will work on Verizon MVNOs without problem?
