I have 3 Tv's that I'm deciding on right now.

Sony X900E (1500 on BF)

Samsung Mu8000 (1300 on BF)

Vizio M-series ($980 right now, maybe less on BF??)

I know the Sony will have the better overall picture quality but is it enough of a difference to spend 500 more instead of going with the M-Series?

just would like to know what others thoughts are and which one would you purchase and most importantly why would you purchase it?

Also open to other tv recommendations if you know of better overall deals. (ex Vizo P-series, which is also on my list if I can get a good deal)

rtings.com [rtings.com] In case you don't know about it, or no one responds. They used to have a "buy if below" price but it looks like they removed that recently.

Yeah I'm familiar with Rtings. I was looking more for real life situations vs the specifications. No matter what the ratings sites says. If a majority of the crowd had a bad experience with the TV then that rules it out for me

I would almost stick with rtings on the decision. Reason being is that you may have a hard time finding enough people that have experience with each TV to the effect of giving you a solid grounded opinion on each TV.

I for one like the x900 but for overall price the vizio is your best bet. What i mean is you're bound to find that vizio on a better sales discount than the X900E, though, both can be found on discount. Plus, the X900 upscales better (if that's your need), One thing I have found about samsung is that their app isn't choppy. In the store the X900E app seems very choppy.

Are you looking for the 55 or 65? The 55 is like 1198 on amazon. The 65 is around 1790ish.

If no one replies here, best bet is to gloss over amazon and see what people are saying about each set. Just have to disregard the fake reviews.
