There is a 15% coupon displayed under my account. YMMV. check for it

This is a good $/GB price point, and may not drop much lower due to shortage of NAND Flash. Read more: https://slickdeals.net/article/buying-guide/not-all-solid-state-drives-are-created-equal/

Good deal. However, unless you'll need it right now, I'd wait for Black Friday...
It was $53 last year.

The point is it's faster the larger your drive is and you may simply need more space. But, make no mistake, SSDs may be faster and hardier than HDDs, but it may be next to impossible to get your data out if it goes bad. These things are based on RAM tech and are inherently more volatile than HDDs or tape drives. Therefore, it is smart to backup and backup often. Failing to do so can cost you big. IMHO, HDDs still have a place in our personal homes, in the form of backups.

Yes I know they're solid....state.... Stick Out Tongue I had too many of their products fail on me. Out of all the solid state devices I've owned, this is the only brand that has failed on me, and failed on me on about 3 different occasions. And don't get me started on their thumb drives.

I've had enough trouble with Sandisk to make me a little apprehensive about this deal.
