Yes very easy, just remove trim and bulb from exiting recessed light, screw in new led bulb in recessed light socket and clip into housing. No more than 5-10 minutes per light

Anyone go deals on housing/cone for these lights, I'm in the process of retrofitting recessed lights to my home?

Thanks OP for this great deal... I'm still searching to see what's the difference between these generic brands vs (GE, PHILIPS)

I've done a lot of electrical work around my house and just installed 8 retro fit recessed housings in two different rooms in my house in the past month.....so here's my 2 cents. I personally wouldn't put anything other than 2700k in my house. Anything higher I found to be too harsh but I suppose this is personal preference. Also of note, these bad boys are going to be Bright with a capital B. 1k lumens for a recessed downlight is going to be too bright IMO, especially paired to the harshness of 5000k...I would pass. Price point seems good tho.

I have installed this throughout my whole house but a different brand. I bought the 3000k and it gives off a nice yellowish white. I am now leaning more towards 4000k for a pure white while 5000k would give you a more blue/white color.

I'm thinking these are too bright, that's why no love for this deal. Lumens are high, I think 650 or below will work best as I've been to Home Depot to check out the brightness.

My friend said he doesn't like hospital/industrial white lights.

But if I get it lights will lower lumen, then when dimmed up to the highest setting, should not be too bright with below 800 lumen, but I think it also depends on brand too. I will need to buy to test out from Home Depot or visit a lot of friends houses.

My ceiling are only 8 feet high so I don't need high lumen ight to shoot that far down the ceiling to reach the floor either.

Costco has the 2 pack retrofit 2700K 75W equivalent for $14.99 as the regular price. This price is less than the regular price at Costco but not by a big margin.

They had it for 8 off in my local Costco. 6.99 for 2-pack. Wish it was 4000 or 5000k though.

You can't find 4000k at this price at Lowes or Home Depot. In for two!

Did you get to use these lights? How was the quality? I am planning to get these as the deal is still live but wanted to get some feedback before I pull the trigger.
