I think this is the lowest these have been from an authorized dealer.

All below also include a 1-year extended warranty
Price shown at checkout

48.5" Samsung UN49MU8000FXZA 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (2017 Model) [buydig.com] $697.99

55" Samsung UN55MU8000FXZA 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (2017 Model) [buydig.com] $897.99

64.5" Samsung UN65MU8000FXZA 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (2017 Model) [buydig.com] $1,297.99

The 75", others have the same price on (sale started earlier today I believe) but don't think they have the extra year warranty.

74.5" Samsung UN75MU8000FXZA 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (2017 Model) [buydig.com] $2,297.99

Not a bad price. Would Best Buy price match this you think?

It is possible as BuyDig is an authorized dealer, but you'd probably have to pay tax at BB plus it's doubtful they would match the extended warranty.

Thoughts on getting this or hoping the Sony x850e goes down to a similar price? I prefer the Sony but not for $200 more.

Solid TVs. Note that the 49" version only has a 60hz refresh rate, the bigger ones are at 120hz.

Sony 65" X900E will be $1499 on BF at BB. Look for others online to PM for no tax, then PP and add a Costco Square Trade warranty.

Which sites are the most reliable when it comes to PM with no tax?

Still hoping for the x850e though since I was hoping to spend closer to $1300 than $1500

I'm confused in considering 55inch mu8000 for 900$ or lg oled e7 for 1200$ after price match....any suggestions?

This is an edge-lit TV with bad local dimming. If you care about streaming HDR at all or future proofing an extra year or two, go with something else.

Thanks, OP!! We were going to get the 55" at best buy on black Friday. You saved me ~$75 in tax AND now I don't have to worry about crowds. Thanks!!!

When I scroll down into the stats, seems to be 60hz "standard refresh rate" for all of these, no?

No. The bigger sizes have true 120hz refresh rate. Only the 49" is 60hz. For instance, the Samsung website gives the 65" a 240 motion rate, which is their refresh rate doubled.

Glad that I decided to keep my ks8000 which I got last year. Seems mu series is not really an upgrade compared to ks
