Amazon dropped the price on the Scientific Explorer My First Fizzy Foamy Science Kit [amazon.com] for $8.33. Free shipping w/ Prime.

It includes vegetable oil, citric acid, baking soda, yeast, color tablets, plastic bags, cups, sticks, a magnifier, measuring spoon, straw, and guide.

Alternatively:
Walmart [walmart.com] charges about $2 more via in-store pickup.

I don't see much Science here, with little to no explanation of the experiments. You can recreate all of the experiments with kitchen supplies. Having said that, if it keeps your kids busy for an hour on a rainy day, go for it.

I'm thinking to avoid shipping charges. Also, not everyone has prime to get it from Amazon without shipping charges

Because Walmart charges $5+ for shipping to home... So to avoid that, just choose in-store pick up.
