SINCE IT IS NOT ANY SMARTPHONE FOR $400 I THINK THIS PROMOTION IS A HUGE FAILURE BY SAMSUNG

https://www.samsung.com/us/shop/upcoming-offers/
Unidays discount lowers the price from $550 down to $502.50

Trade in promos and orders with Samung.com are always risky because if something goes wrong they have really bad service

No crappy Samsung trade in to worry about

I was wondering why samsung reduced trade in values on many non samsung models. The LG 4 went all the way down to 50.00 from 300. I bet it was to make way for this promo

The new trade in value are very strange. They have the 2017 LG G6 in the $150 group and the 2015 Note 5 in the $200 group. The fine print at the bottom mentions LG G4 but the $50 category mentions LG G5. Maybe they will turn black Friday into a $400 any smartphone trade in promotion!

The following devices are currently eligible for trade-in under the Samsung Trade In Program in exchange for the applicable Trade-In Values listed above: iPhone 5 and above, iPhone SE, Galaxy S5 and above (including Galaxy S active models), Note 5, LG G4 and above, Google Pixel & Pixel XL.

Was there a high rejection rate for trade-ins in the previous offer?

OP I thought you despise Samsung. Yet now you're posting Samsung deals?
They have not rejected anyone from the Note 7 $425 promo yet and it's been almost 2 months. Maybe they have changed and they finally fixed the promo system.

Nobody knows the exact rejection rates but the original S8/S8+ trade ins had more than a few members post brand new phones rejected for wear and tear. The Note 8 promotion from September has had ZERO rejections mentioned in that thread.

The fact that it includes the 360 camera again (see ops samsung link) for black friday along with 400 may make for an awesome deal....however it depends on which phones qualify.
