Website field gets no cursor

74 November 12, 2017 at 02:22 PM
I can not enter my credit card info at a merchant I use quite a bit.
The CC number field gets no cursor no matter what I do. I deleted all cookies and local info.
I get this error in Chrome (latest version) and Win10 Edge, the two browsers I use.
It lets me enter the exp date and ccv info but not the number.... I can order on my phone.
Any ideas?

Hard to say, it could be all sorts of things like: a browser add-on like an ad blocker, your firewall or antivirus, malware on your computer, a bug on the website (your phone gets a different version of the site), a connection issue causing some of the website's css or javascript to not load correctly, and so on.

The first thing I'd try is using the tab key to move between fields (shift tab cycles backwards).

In chrome I'd suggest you try an incognito window.

Without knowing the website it's hard to be much more help.

Why do conservative politicians oppose conservation?
Have you ever stopped to think the long-term GOP immigration policy might be to make the United States of America a less desirable place to live than Mexico?

I'd suspect an ad blocker too. Disable it on the website and see if it works and let us know if it doesn't.

overzealous antivirus might be able to cause this too. An incognito window in chrome is a good test as it will disable addons that haven't been explicitly enabled in incognito.
