Flatbed scans fine.

But when I use the Automatic Document Feeder to scan multiple pages, it goes through fine. But scanned documents are Blank. Just to be sure, I tried both sides of the paper - still blank.

I suggest following these instructions: https://files.support.epson.com/h.../adf_4.htm
Make sure you do a preview and select the region you want to scan and then do the scan.

Why do conservative politicians oppose conservation?
Have you ever stopped to think the long-term GOP immigration policy might be to make the United States of America a less desirable place to live than Mexico?

I'm glad that you tried both sides, that would have been the 1st suggestion. I'm hopeful that jkee's suggestion pans out for you. nod

No luck
Epson also had me uninstall and reinstall - no luck - they are concluding it is a hardware failure - they had me send photo of the SN - wasted 2hrs

Are these ADF comes cheap - Model EU-73 - can not find it on eBay?

My thoughts were either
-it's scanning a nothing because the preview wasn't set right (i've never seen a scanner with an adf that makes you preview, but this one does)
-it isn't putting the sensor in the right place for documents to pass by it / the adf is misaligned. I'd consider opening the lid while scanning from the adf to see where the sensor is and what the doc does on the bottom side

Ultimately I don't think the is was a very popular accessory for this scanner. If you need a good document scanner, purpose built scanners are much faster and scan both sides of the page at the same time.

Here's a lower end document scanner: https://www.amazon.com/Brother-AD...00EKW6JGI/

The issue turned out to be the protective cover that was sitting on top of the flat bed scanner - hence blocking the view to the ADF - I imagined that there was another scanner inside the ADF.

HP makes a narrow window, separate from flatbed scanning area for the ADF.

You might be right about the ADF - when I use pdf of to scan, it only scans from the flatbed. It has no clue that there is paper on the ADF.
