I bought a simular pair awhile back and Iam more than satisfied. They do a decent amount of light , are very portable and mountable for multiple uses . Also work well with Eneloops or quality rechargeables .Worth $4 each imo .

Have several of these and have given away a number of them. Not the sturdiest in the world, but very, very bright. 4 bucks a piece is a very good deal. Repped.

No Cobb LEDs, so these are not Hunter Ellis approved for 'go time'

Bought 3 a few months ago. They work well enough. Would recommend for power outages and camping.

These emit a decent amount of light. I had one get corrosion from rayon* batteries after a month but they are def worth 4 bucks a piece.

Honestly, keep them around for power outages, just make sure to store them with batteries (change the packages regularly, but don't install them of course).

Use them for camping or if you're working in a tight area.

Keep one in the car for an emergency (cover a side in red or orange tape if necessary).

Give them out to people as emergency lights with the aforementioned instructions.

I won't lie, I will be traveling to some of the US Forest Service Cabins next year to stay for a night on vacation, and I may very well leave one at a spot without a similar light. I went to a couple of cabins this year in Oregon... After having to defrost a barely-working propane refrigerator and fix a blown-out pilot light in a cabin filled with propane stench, that's the least I could do next time around. The fridge could be defrosted well enough, but it would have been bad news to turn on the propane lanterns in the latter cabin, so an led light was the only way to go and I was lucky enough to be packing a couple of them.

Just bought 4 for that price. (and that was a good deal). These lanterns are great! Very bright. Perfect for power outages that happen far too often where I live.
