So... could you clarify the iPhone X deal? So you get the iPhone X? Or you get the iPhone X and then have to pay monthly installments? I currently have an iPhone 7+ 128gb I'm making payments on with TMO.

"iPhone 8 Trade In /w $199 down"

Does that mean that if I trade in my iPhone 8 and pay $199 plus tax, then I own the phone outright? Or is there 24 months of EIP for $199?

Link to this rumor?

I'm pretty sure the guy who started this thread on Reddit deleted his account after a senior exec at T-Mobile said he was greatly misinformed.

T-Mobile sucks. As a non-T-Mobile One subscriber, I feel T-Mobile has let down many existing subscribers. They have no deals whatsoever for BF; they monopolize over their own cell phones, unlike Verizon, AT&T and Sprint, who have deals all over in B&M stores, like Costco, BestBuy, Target, Walmart, etc. Hey John Legere, throw a bone will ya?

Deals for BF aren't posted yet, just rumors so far on reddit. The other thread here in slickdeals has amazing promos but probably only if you're on the One plan and like last year will not materialize. One plan is great if you can get some peeps to make it a family plan then its close to the cheapest you can get on t-mobile. It does suck that many of the new phone promos are only for add a lines to your account and I agree it would be nice to get some deals like you used to be able to at Costco for T-mobile.

Meh I'm not waiting for T-Mobile, I've given up on them. 80% of the people on my 10GB family plan (8 people) don't even hit 5GB a month of data usage, what the use of paying $15+ more a line just to get some freebies (Netflix, occasional phone deal). I missed those early opportunities to get a free line and perhaps the 20% hookup discount so there's no way I'm paying an extra $120 more a month. I'll just look for some deals over at Swappa. No taxes and reasonable prices make it as good (if not better) than even some of the BF deals for Samsung S8 as other carriers. John Legere you stink

If the people don't hit the discount cap of 2GB then kickback will give them $10 credit for every line that has that enabled and qualifies. Auto pay is another discount that every line qualifies $5 per line up to 9 lines (not sure if that also applies to your 10GB family plan). Then taxes and fees being included should also factor in to your calculations. Hookup discount was the icing on the cake for most it ended nationwide a long time ago and then for certain stores you were still able to get it but that also ended last August. Maybe look into a business account, that is what I wished I would have done I am stuck at 12 lines and having to put down a deposit if I want another line.

I have the Stylo 2+ (the 3+ has more RAM) and it's excellent, IMNSHO.
Very fluid, big screen. Yes the Screen is only 720p, but for me, easily as good as my old S5.
The Samsung is more or less an S5, and a good machine, but given the choice, I'd go for the larger screen, stylus, and memory of the LG
