I have an older pair of these that I just bought for $50 locally. The sub has a hum as soon as it's powered ON.... even with no cable attached. Please advise. Thanks.

No but they are lightweight and will easily slide onto a screw or nail. The center channel comes with a template to mount.

Should contact Polk and see what they say. Customer service is pretty good, knowledgeable reps will give you options.

Yes they need a receiver.
So these cannot connect directly to your TV outputs? I thought they were powered independently. 😖

Try a 3-prong adapter for the outlet you're using... sometimes it's a ground issue.

Adding an adapter and making it 2 prongs fixed one of my subs....but not the Polk. Still hums with the converter. I'll ring Polk.
