These are good filters! You don't want more restrictive filters. Makes your blower have to work harder, putting more stress on the system and reduces airflow out vents. Buy basic ones like these and change them often is the best solution.
Don't smoke. Avoid or correct the situations that lead to mold.

Good price, but I wish they were a little higher FPR. These are basic filters.

Agreed. Would like one that handles at least smoke and mold.

It looks like it does mold. It's FPR 6 and the packaging lists mold.

I've heard the same thing but haven't done the research. My daughter is highly allergic so I buy the correct filters for her but have to replace them more about every 2 months so I don't choke the system out. When I change filters 2 months later you can tell it's under strain.

Home Depot has their 4pk of True Blue basic filters for 14.29. I use the same size & rarely find good deals!

Outdated info. With modern filters you can go up to 10, maybe 11, before pressure drop becomes an issue. It's all up to the system.

Only issue mine has with Accumulair Diamond 13's is the cost of filters is kinda high, but I live in the city so find it worthwhile.
