I did my research on Sony. As of now I saw a deal 850E for $1999 at Walmart. But in stores the 900E looks way better than 850E which are close to $2799. Are there any good deals under 2k in other brands like Samsung or lg with similar specs and picture quality of Sony 900E and higher models?

You can get a Samsung UN75MU8000 series, [google.com] but you would have to do credit card price protection to get under $2,000:
1. Buy at B&H Photo-Video-Audio at $2297 [bhphotovideo.com]
2. Use Discover/Visa to PriceMatch to Best Choice AV at $1899 [bestchoiceav.com]

You can do the same with the 75X900E, but the cheapest I see from an authorized dealer is $2999 and the highest CC pricematch is $500, so your net cost would be $2500 for that. I honestly used to be a Sony fan and I think there are certain things that are great, but I prefer Samsung now.

I thought about jumping up to the 75" Samsung, but it's not worth the hassle of buying/selling to upgrade from a Samsung 65KS8000 [google.com] that was purchased @ $985 after cashback last winter (Note: I missed the "cookie hack" to bring it down to $849)!!

My options are to go to get: UN82MU8000 [google.com] or 75Q7F series [samsung.com] for $2200-$2500. All I need is for one of them to hit the <$3000 mark during this holiday season. If they don't come down, I'm just sticking with my 65".
