The metal is brass, the amethyst is a low quality semiprecious stone (why bother "creating" it?)

Is that the only difference? I paid about $400 for my wife's sapphire ring off Amazon, the gemstone table says Natural for stone creation method for this one:

yours is also probably not sterling silver like what is sold here. lab created stones are cheap.

Again, the description says metal is BRASS. Color is silver. Sterling would cost more.
