In for one. Sorry in advance to my 2 boys. These next few haircuts are going to be a learning experience.

If they want a fade, cut it one size too long. If you fail, you get another try and at the very least you can cut it all to the shorter length.

I just use a #2 all over so it's very simple for me. I just need someone to get the back of my neck and check for any missed spots.

Great set of clippers. My 20 year old Wahl died and I replaced it with Andis and immediately noticed the difference in quality. Returned the Andis and got the Wahl Elite and it is just like my old one. Built like a tank, smooth, strong quiet motor.

While I agree with the imperial units thing, out of curiosity, are you one of those "crazy" people who thinks World War II was isolated to Europe, North Africa, and Western Asia? That's a rhetorical question, of course, no need to answer it.

This deal looks like it has more junk bundled. Going on 9 years with my Wahl I got my freshman year of college because I was too cheap to pay for haircuts. It still works. And I'm still too cheap for haircuts. Mostly because there's less and less hair to cut these days Frown

I would recommend paying the extra $12 and stepping up to the Wahl "5 Star" which has the professional grade V9000 motor. I don't see the specs for this model, but likely has the V5000 motor, which is a strong consumer motor, but far inferior to the 9000. The "5 Star" is probably the best bang for the buck clipper on the market. You can usually find it for around $45-48 shipped if you look around.

*Warning*

Tried two of these units and the switch went out in under a month on both of them.
