Creative E-MU XM7 Speakers $99.99

Early BF sale. Lowest price I've seen on these passive speakers. Reviews like it over Pioneer BS22 since it has better bass, and highs. All things being equal, I think these look nicer, and they are a little smaller. Black or Wood color available.

They have a bunch of other stuff on sale, but this speaker pair seems to be one of the better deals.

I secretly love these speakers more than my Klipsch W series home theatre setup.

Would you use these with a surround setup? What would you use for the center speaker?

So I use these for my computer speakers. It's positioned so perfectly, the sound is just so silky smooth. It's powered by the matching Creative X7 External Amplifier/Sound Card.

As for center channel, I've combined it with TWO KRK Rokit5's. lol Strange setup, but it works well.

I honestly love the wood color. Have got to be my favorite bookshelves.

They are passive, and can be used any stereo amp. They are rated at 6 Ohms with a max handling of 60 watts so you don't need much to power them.

Received mine today and compared with the sony $75 one. This sounds too tight that literally like a computer speaker. Will return this and keep the sony. This is a comparison similar to DT990 vs HD600 if you consider the way in headphones.

Could it be theses need more of a "break-in" period?
