based on all the reviews, this is supposed to be the best sounding smart speaker on the market right now. Even if Cortana has fewer skills than Alexa (likely never getting Audible, just like Google Home, which is a huge negative for me personally), it does have Spotify and can make phone calls. And whatever service it doesn't have you can just connect your phone over bluetooth.

Hmmmmm I just might have to bite for $99

Based on most of the reviews, this blows away Echo and Google Home. It's also heck of a lot cheaper than Apple HomePod.

Only thing was it lacked "skills", but that should be solved by time since this only came out a few months ago.

Cortana on pc can control audible through the windows 10 audible app maybe this will be able to access it also.

I got to see it at Best Buy. The audio quality is far superior as compared to Alexa, however it is fairly limited in the number of skills it has at this time.

Getting this two. Every review out there is saying it's the best sounding home speaker right now. And $99 is just crazy good.

Amazon and Microsoft have also entered into an agreement to make Cortana and Alexa play well together, so I hope that gets integrated into this speaker once the project comes into effect.

Any comparison between this and JBL cahrge 3. I just need one of these for playing music over Wifi and it has to be wireless. Thanks in advance.

I'm in the same boat. I don't care about A.I. feature either but looking for a great sounding wireless (or bluetooth) speaker in similar price range. I have the charge 2. If this sounds better than the charge 2, it'll be a pretty good deal!

thats very interesting and good to know. I know that Microsoft and Amazon are also partnering up on the speaker assistants, but we don't know how exactly just yet.

Sound may be way better but definitely isn't gonna beat Google Assistant or Alexa in terms of intelligence. Microsoft just hasn't kept up with either of them. Good for playing music hands-free I guess?

In terms of intelligence, Alexa is still maturing. Alexa shines in terms integration and connectivity. Alexa struggles to answer any question which is not in its cloud dictionary.

Cortana, Siri, and Google Assistant are best in terms in intelligence. I have tried Cortana in Windows 10, and it is pretty good. I hope the device have the same service.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Cortana getting an Alexa skill, and vice versa, soon?
