Model DW745S for those wondering. OP, please add to title. Dewalt practically makes an entire product line of "10in Compact Table Saws"

Hitachi for sure. It supports a dado blade and is really close in functionality and quality to the dwe7491 which is the top of the line jobsite table saw that Dewalt makes.

considering that the dw745 used to go for $225, an extra $75 is expensive for this stand.

need coupon to make this sweeter

I have this saw and this stand, bought separately. The stand is actually really inconvenient to put up and take down, as you're meant to secure it to the saw with screws, which have to be removed if you plan on collapsing it. It's stable though, and light. An unexpected feature of the saw is that it almost perfectly sets on the Werner long step thing that's on sale for $19.97 on black friday, to the point that it's almost as stable as the stand.

The saw also can't support a dado stack, which I didn't know when I bought it and I really miss.

That said, it has a fantastic fence system if you primarily use the fence on, but the fence frequently gets out of true when you remove and reinstall it. It's an easy fix, but if you're doing a ton of fence-on, fence-off cuts, it gets old fast.

With the right blade, I haven't run into anything that it can't cut fairly well.

The included miter guage sucks though.

The rip width is about ten inches short of the Hitachi. I've been using this DeWalt for 4 years and the stand is a pain to setup as stated, combined with lack of dado and constantly wanting a wider rip, I just bought the Hitachi the other day. I usually end up using this table saw on the ground lol. The hitatchi is quiter, heavier, accepts dado, built in stand with wheels, and has storage for miter gauge. I will say that the flip up/down fence for the hitatchi fence is a bit odd. DeWalt is easier to store since it's smaller and more easily portable due to the light weight.

I've heard the term DADO blade before, what does that mean?
