** Discount appears to be valid IN-STORE ONLY **

Was at Costco the other day. Saw this light, it's on sale until November 15, 2017.

Pretty solid deal for $25, normal price is $35. On Amazon it's $47!

I've had it for a few days so far, it's been working out nicely. I like how compact it folds up to be.

As to OP's reference to Amazon review(s).... there is only ONE review.

I happen to have bought this light a couple days ago. My verdict is it's just OK.

It is a really blue light, I'm guessing 6000k which you can't see as well with because it dilates your pupils so you can't see details as well. Given it does not have a cover over the LED's it blinds you if you look at it or even if it's in your peripheral vision.

I'm very discerning of lights as I do a lot of detail work on everything from Home Improvement to working on my (5) Cars & (11) Motorcycles; having said that the only purpose I can see for this light is setting it on the floor to do drywall or painting.

A high bay LED at 11,000 lumens is far superior even though expensive and is EASILY worth 4 times what this light cost.... this is a great high bay LED https://www.homedepot.com/p/EnviroLite-90-Watt-2-ft-White-Integrated-LED-Backlit-High-Bay-Hanging-Li... [homedepot.com]

Further, I tried mounting the Winplus light up high 6' off the ground and you just can't see well with it. I doubt I'm keeping mine because it just isn't versatile enough.

You're right, KineticRider, there is only 1 review on Amazon; I got confused for the number of reviews on Costco.com.

Correct again, if you're doing detail work, and you need a highly precise light, then this isn't the light for you.

I like the light simply for the fact that's compact, portable, and it's bright, so I can see in the dark. It's also super cheap Smilie

Costco's return policy is so good that if I don't like it after a few weeks, I will simply return it.

Thanks for your feedback. You get a +REP, just because you took the time to contribute to my thread. Appreciate it!

I picked up one of these a week ago and for the price am very happy with it used it the other day to provide light in kitchen while replaced all the under cabinet lighting. Stand is versatile light was plenty for my needs and a good color. Compared to work lights at Lowe's and home Depot is a no brainier to me

It's rated at 2100 Lumens, it's pretty dang bright. I took it out to use under my car and pointed it up at bottom of the car, it nearly blinded me!

I played around with it more tonight. I really REALLY like this light. It's cheap in price, but quality is above average. The light is nice and white, I can't really ask for more. Solid purchase IMO.

FYI: Update: I've been using the light for a few days now. One of the things I do NOT like about it: it takes a good amount of force to fold the light. ...So much force that my co-workers didn't dare to fold it since they thought they were going to break my light. I'm not sure how well it will hold up over time, we shall see!

Today is the LAST Day for this sale (based on the signs at my local Costco Store), so if you want one. This is the time to get it.

I bought another one for a co-worker yesterday and he loved it too!

8/8 light.

The elephant in the room may be the fact it is a wired light instead of a wireless battery powered one but that may be precisely because of it's size and luminosity. It doesn't need to be moved around to light up specific areas because it covers a huge swath in blinding LED glory and if you really need to, the swivel pods themselves act as adjustable spotlights.

I've been using it for automotive use and it's low profile enough to stick under the car light up the entire undercarriage. The side pods have also been especially useful since often, line-of-sight to the area I'm working with is often obscured by my hands or my body.

Saw this additional review on the OPs original link, makes me want to try it out for a stream setup.

I bought this light on last day of rebate but will probably return it. I have the snap-on light that Costco also used to sell and it's rated 2000 lumens. I decided to do a crude test and just turn them on after one another in dark garage, the snap on although rated to 2000 lumen vs 2100 for winplus seems about 30 percent brighter to the eye. Also, the light seems to spill more evenly or naturally with snap on. I only got winplus for adjustability and would likely keep it if it was close in brightness to snap-on, but difference seems quite noticeable. Maybe this is the effect of the blue light to the eye one of the posters is talking about.

Also looking close at leds of both lights, the winplus leds seem like lower quality. the reflecting backing around leds on winplus seems like some sort of foil and just has a cheesy low quality look.

I picked it up today the 26th and it was still on sale? Maybe until they are gone, I am in Denver?

I liked it due to the 2 outlets built into the light so I can plug other things into it and the USB ports I usually use my phone for music while working so I can keep it charged while working.

Awesome!!! Glad you still got the $25 price! I'm still loving mine and find more ways to use it everyday. Very handy, and the quality of the light is really good for what I need.

I gave you REP points for taking the time to reply to my thread to let everyone know the deal is still good =)

Enjoy your light! Happy Holidays!
