What's the regular sale price on these? My mom wants one and wondering how good of a deal this is?

Walmart MSRP $350
Macy's ebay deal of the day $255
Best Buy $250 sale today

Sure your mom needs the 3 in 1 vs, a Navigator? I saw a navigator for Black Friday at Walmart or Target for about $100.

For less than a quarter of the price, why not get the Bissell on sale at Frys today only for $49.98? You are paying for the Shark branding. The Bissell has excellent suction and will last 3+ years, at which point you won't mind replacing it since it only costs $50 instead of $200 or more!

Looking at the reviews there are a lot of people who like Bissells. I like my big green machine for carpet. I got my first shark last year. Don't have much to compare it against. I really like it.

For me, Bissells are what Eureka vacuums we're back in the day. Eureka has sacrificed everything to get to the price points Walmart wants, and the product has suffered. Hoover vacuums are decent but didn't have as much suction as the Bissells we have owned. I'll keep buying them until their quality goes down enough to warrant looking to a new brand.

Costco sells this item for 249.99. They will sometimes feature a coupon via their monthly savings circular which takes off another 50. I bought one of these and I love it.

I have this vacuum with duo clean tech and oh my god; it is awesome! Very quality build; super good suction and very light weight to use. I love it

If you're looking for a basic upright vacuum and don't mind purchasing new every few years, then sure, the Bissell is sold at a very attractive price point. BUT don't knock people willing to pay more for the additional features of this shark (or even the Navigator that will be on sale for BF):

Lift away is convenient when cleaning the stairs, behind a couch, or the inside of a car.
HEPA filtration greatly reduces allergens re-circulation.
Initial suction power might be similar between both manufactures, however, sharks have the reputation of a long lifespan for a reason (and a 7 year limited warranty to match).
6 attachments vs 4
30' cord vs 25' (we all have experienced that "just out of reach" patch of carpet)

If you don't want or need these features then comparing this specific model to the one on sale at Fry's seems a bit silly. It's like cross shopping a mustang and a fiesta, when all you need to get to work is four wheels and an airbag. I agree that the $79 MSRP Bissell (especially on sale for $50) is a much better value than say the basic Shark NV42 with a $129 MSRP, however, comparing it to the $350 MSRP NV751 is "apples to oranges"

TL;DR this is a good deal on a great vacuum, and currently it's lowest available price.

But if you'd prefer the Bissell (and live near a Fry's, since shipping is no longer available), feel free to use the promo code: 4944677

I don't understand why people spend 200 on a vacuum

I bought this refurbished on ebay not long ago, I think its the same lift-away make and model NV500?

But anyways, I used to have a Hoover, pet wind tunnel something or other. It was horrible. No suction ever.

Got myself a shark and it worked great. When I found out my wife had an affair she got the original Shark, and I got myself a refurbished one. No complaints what so ever! Never going back to a hoover.
