This seems to be really old stock but the seller claims that the phone has never been used.
Final price $143.19 after applying coupon code PSHOPEARLY

If you have the 8% cashback in form of ebay bucks offer then you can get $14.32 back as well.

Not the most amazing seller but ebay is featuring them so it seemed worth a shot. #116 here:

I'm honestly not sure if this seller can be trusted or not. I have ordered one for myself though. I found this comment helpful =>

It's a roll of the dice. Technically new other doesn't have many requirements and in some cases it ends up being the same as Refurbished or Used. The seller explicitly says that it is unused, so if it shows signs of use they should be on the hook to take it back for a full refund. If you really want an S6 this is a really good price and may be worth a gamble. It could very well be in perfect condition.
Basically, there is definitely a risk involved but the reward could be worth it for some people.

Why would the LCD be "aging" just because it's new old stock?

This G890A is the factory stock held for long time and the LCD display may be a little aging, but it comes with new condition and never used. For this reason, it sells at discounted price. PLS take this into consideration before you make order. Thanks!

I already ordered. Should I cancel? I could make a claim if it is not new since it is mentioned that it is new...

Seller from China, feedback kept private so you don't now which items were bad unless customer states it. There's no such thing as "aged display" these are refurbished most likely from phones that had cracked glass and other issues. Is there a chance that you get "like new"? maybe but it's very big maybe from my experience. They usually try to negotiate partial refund citing that they cant do much though since they don't make a lot of profit on these.

The seller canceled my order so I could order again to get the 8% ebay bucks. That's a good sign, I suppose. I ended up paying less that $130 for the phone. It could be worth it even if it is refurbished and I will be okay with a partial refund as well. Keeping my fingers crossed.

The item is listed as shipping from New Jersey but yes, the seller is based in Hong Kong. I have ordered. Will report back. I am hoping that ebay has strict policy against lying on listings.

Just check for burn in on the screen and see how well the battery holds a charge. I tried twice to get a Note 4 that was supposed to be like new from 2 different sellers, but both had bad burn in. You could see all the home screen icons burned in from being left on the same image for too long.

Definitely a great price. I'm debating whether to use the only coupon on this.

TERRIBLE "deal". $143 for a "new other" (i.e. used) 2.5 year old S6 with screen issues? Maybe that's a good deal in Bizarro World. laugh out loud

I got a Note 5 from ebay from a different seller for $175 and it was brand new. And got a Galaxy S6 on clearance from Walmart for $160. Buying from Walmart gave me peace of mind but I had to travel for 3 hours roundtrip to get it LMAO
Screen burn-in should be easily detected. I will also run all the diagnostics. Anyway, I'm not sure how soon I'll get the phone.

Warning: This is YMMV. Please check the rules for using the coupon but even though I have bought this phone using the coupon code already, it is still letting me use the coupon on other products. I have already used the coupon twice.

It's not a deal, it's an amazing deal but only if the phone is actually new and I know that it's a big "if" and that is the catch!

I would not take the chance, the seller is basically telling you up front these phones have LCD issues. Yes, you might get your money back, but you might not, and is it really worth the aggravation? Not to me.

That being said, ebay REALLY has to step-up their game and give shoppers the option to report sellers for false advertising. I see so many phone re-sellers now advertising phones as NEW (not new-other) when they aren't. We all know the ebay description of NEW.

"New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in a retail store, unless the item is handmade or was packaged by the manufacturer in non-retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or plastic bag. See the seller's listing for full details"

Yet many of these sellers listing phones as new are now openly stating in the listings description that the phones have been opened (just to check for this and that, lol) or phones "will be shipped in non-retail boxes with after market chargers and no manuals" etc, or the condition of the phones are 4 out of 5 or 8 out of 10, and "may have small scratches due to handling", etc., lol. There is currently now way to turn these sellers into ebay. ALWAYS READ THE DESCRIPTION before bidding or buying.
