Not a chance... Unless they had like 10 in stock and sold out in 5 minutes!

There are still people in this world who want or use blank dvds. I have friends or family members who still want all the Asian Dramas I d/l burnt to dvd. No matter how much I tell them they can just stick them on a HD & play them that way they refuse.
I use to burn through 1200+ dvd-rs each year. Now I'm down to about 400.

I know exactly what you mean, my mother insists that any dramas she watch be burnt to DVD and any music to be burnt to CD, any effort to persuade her otherwise is futile

Not much of any savings-almost regular price as the 100 packs; but still in for 1 for just $5.
I needed a few for making more backups, in case of hdd failure. I know there are numerous better/other ways to backup,:cloud, filesharing servers, multiple hdds, bluray blanks, etc, but I like using these for smaller files. and for recording some rare sporting events from tv in standard definition using an old set top dvd-recorder...And for installing operating system
, so there's still a few old school uses for these old school things.Smilie
