I've got one of these at home, and it's pretty solid. Heats the water up quick, and does a good job keeping it hot. The only thing that could really be improved is allowing you to set a temperature yourself since some teas fall between the preset temperatures, but I've simply selected the closest one without any issues so far.

** edit **
I forgot to mention that it is not the quietest. Trying to use this in an office environment is a no go.

I have this same kettle and we love it. I thought there was no need for such a fancy kettle but my wife proved me wrong, not a rare occurrence. The kettle will keep reheating the water until you turn it off which can nice feature but also a pain.

Sick kettle, and a very hot deal!

I purchased this same model in February 2015 on Amazon for $89.87.

Just picked up a second one for work.

Thanks OP and thanks Daily Steals!

Top reviews from Amazon suggest that the screws inside starts to rust 2 months in

What I don't like is that the screws on the inside of the lid began to rust about 2 months in. Although Cuisinart will replace it under their warranty, I have to pay for shipping both ways (you can send it any way you want, but have to send them $15 for return postage). Why should I pay $30 for a defective product replacement? At present, I'm not inclined to pour any more money into this product. To me, Cuisinart needs to stand behind their product better. If this were 2 or 3 years in, fine, but it's not even 2 months old!!

Is the part that holds the water stainless steel? Is there no plastic part that gets hot? Thanks.
