The 256GB SSD options seems like a good deal to me - don't make the mistake to get the HDD for $40 less. Thumbs up even though I don't need it.

Not really you could get away with 2d titles and some 3d titles, but other than that it will not handle games well.

I trust the hinges comment but wouldn't a U processor be unlikely to overheat? It's a efficient i7.

7500u is a significantly weaker CPU than this model. SSD and ram are nice on yours though.

These CPUs will throttle before overheating - it is all dependent on the cooling solution.
