Totally agree, that should'be the price for the 55 incher. It's not like it's a real HDR TV since it doesn't have a true 10-Bit color panel.

This is not a low end TV. It is a series 7 tv. I have the 2016 version of the 49" ku7000 and it is true HDR. It has a 10 bit panel and wide color gamut. The peak brightness is not as high as it should be for the hdr spec. However it works great. I used it with my Xbox one s and hdr games like Forza Horizon 3 look amazing. I'm using it now with my Xbox one X and it is stunning.

Wish the 49" was a monitor for that price.
Eyeing deals for a 40-44" monitor for under $500

this is 7000 series. Not entry level. Good set for those looking for 10 bit panel/real HDR. Tempting for bedroom upgrade

You may be thinking 6 series which is 6290/6300 models.. This is 7000 series with 'real' hdr etc.

You sure it was MU7000 model? That was a good deal if so

This is tempting, I'm looking in the $400-500 range for anything 48-55 inch that has a decent viewing angle and works well for movies and a connected media PC. Should I wait for something better on BF?
