it's not a good deal. disposable hard drive without an OS and underpowered board.

You should be able to install the OS that came with the computer originally. Most likely Windows 7. The product key will be on the top of the computer, unless they removed it

Even if they removed it if you use the HP OEM version of Windows 7 it will find the key via SLIC. Then you can immediately upgrade to 10 using the assistive technologies and be good to go.

I've done this before, works fine. The hardest part is finding the HP OEM Windows 7 disk
