The center post is the Achilles' heel of all Playseats (besides Playseat Challenge).

I've only heard good things about GT Omega Stand (no center post, takes less space, works great with IKEA's poang chair), although, seeing it in action has some minor wobble.

If you have a local MicroCenter they have Playseat Challenge for $200, which is cheaper than anywhere. Easy to stow away, great driving positions, and no center post ftw.

Yup that is where I am thinking about picking up the Playseat Challenge, may have someone pick one up that is driving through a town that has a microcenter. Only thing that still has me hesitant is with a GT Omega I can also play upstairs in the master bedroom, just have it at the foot of the bed (no room between the end of the bed and the tv to put the Playseat while with the GT Omega I would have to use my couch or maybe a cheap chair in the main living area but also be able to play it in the master.

Waiting on what GT Omega and others have in store, if anything for Black Friday. If nothing, this seems like a nice budget option for my newly purchased g920.

I looked into getting a PlaySeat Challenge, but for $200 i couldn't justify the price tag for what it is. The Challenge should be $80 at most.

It doesn't look like much but I've yet to see a negative review and these are all from people paying $200+ for it

Yeah, I'd agree on $200+ being too high and would rather pay <$150 for it, but seeing all the reviews, videos, posts (@ GT Planet) has got me thinking this is the best budget sim chair you can find with added bonus of stowability.

I heard it's good for people with lower back problems as well (long usage doesn't hurt their lower back compared to "real" sim chairs) and again, no center post. Just too many good things and not so much anything on the bad.

I second this. Just picked up the Challenge from Microcenter yesterday. I am very happy with it. It's very sturdy and fits me well at 5' 9" 160lbs. Someone significantly larger might struggle. I really like that I can fold it up and move it easily.

Eh I'll take a center post over not being able to tilt my seat back. Im guessing the seat slider and gear shift holder arent included?
