Are you looking for a new computer or refurbished? If you are OK with an older model refurbs may be the way to go. Lots of discussion on here, check ebay etc. If you want to give me some specific needs I can find some examples (cost, cpu power, gaming yes/no etc)

I don't mind a refurb. I have a automation bot that will only run on win7. It's a bot that uses logs in and out of multiple proxies on verious social media sites.

Heh that sounds pretty cool, yea so probably a minimal amount of power then. Here's what I'd do:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/CLEARANC...1986766451
That listing with the lowest on everything and Windows 7 Pro is $95.00 free ship

https://www.ebay.com/itm/HP-8000-...2784362813
This one is very similar for $79 shipped, doesnt come with keyboard+mouse

also this if you want a lot more power, not sure if it's needed? i5 2400 cpu instead of the core 2 duo:

Is this a good deal? Seems like a good deal but looks like it is unpopular on SD

Yeah I'm not sure why its getting such little love, if you were looking for a light-medium gamer (great on everything 1080p), $500-600, and especially if you prefer Intel + Nvidia as I do, pretty hard to beat this deal.

Add an SSD whenever you like to speed up boot times as well. Unfortunately the m.2 SSD circuit traces do not appear to be utilized on the board (well from what I can tell from these lowres photos). There are a few 4x PCIe slots at the bottom though so m.2 could be added with one of those $16 adapters.

here's it listed on Newegg for $819 and has some better pictures

The newegg page shows the same model #, and shows it listed with the mouse and keyboard included. The B&H site has no mention of accessories, but I would be surprised if they weren't included - YMMV.

Here's a review on last year's version which was i5-6400, DDR3, and GTX 960, regularly $999 (lol)

cool looking case btw!

I'm also not sure why this doesn't have more interest. Am I missing something? Maybe everyone is waiting for black friday. Will wait to see additional comments from people that are more computer-savvy than me

I agree, this should be getting more attention. Maybe more SD members are looking for high end PCs than midrange ones? This is a solid deal for a basic gaming PC with a "good enough for medium settings" video card.
