You can request a unique $25 coupon code by chatting with Costco Customer Service. Each account is only allowed to use one code though (even if you obtain multiples)

This is a forum for discussion - why is it so bad for him to ask the question here. Maybe he was looking for opinions. We all have the same google machine.

The way you insult people does make you look like a bully. Im getting tired of seeing people like you comment in a negative way here.

As someone who owns both a Xiaomi Mi (1st gen) and a 960 I'd like to interject...

The Mi is fantastic, easily the best robotic vacuum you can buy for $250-270 by a country mile. I'd highly recommend it over any "bump navigation" Roomba including any 800 or 600 series. It does a decent job cleaning and navigating.

That being said... People like to overstate things, and people have stated in this thread that the Xiaomi Mi is better than Roomba's 900 series. That's a claim I have an issue with. You've taken a true fact (i.e. Xiaomi Mi is an absolute bargain) and hyperbole-d it up to misleading levels (i.e. that Xiaomi Mi is the best vacuum at any price point).

The Roomba 900 series twin brush heads are superior to the Mi's single combi brush head. The Roomba, in my experience, is also less likely to get tangled on things like carpet strands and to build up hair on the brushes. In general both work well, the Roomba works just that little bit better at actual cleaning.

At $500 the Roomba 960 is much more competitive than its absurd $700 retail price. Is a Roomba worth a 70% higher price than the Xiaomi Mi ($300 Vs. $500)? I don't know, but I do know I'd happily pay some premium for the Roomba, I just cannot decide what premium is fair, at $400 I'd likely recommend the Roomba 960 over the Mi for everyone (due to warranty reasons and brush superiority), at $500 it is borderline.

Trust me guys Xiaomi mi vacuum is way better than this and even the 980. Its cheaper and stronger and has the live map feature where it will tell you where the vacuum is live. There is no learning curve either even though its from china. They have english language pack so you dont have to worry about it. I was originally planning on getting this but then i saw reviews for Xiaomi and got it and in love with it. I forgot to mention the battery is ridiculous on this and you will never run out of battery no matter how big your house is. Goodluck guys.

Is it worth the extra $200 to get this one versus the Roomba 690 from Amazon or Lowes for $275? Anyone use both & can chime in on what you're getting in the 960 that's worth the extra money? Trying to decide on which one to get. Thanks.

Looking to buy but I must be special needs lol. I can't find this coupon.

960 is worth it if you have a larger house. Big step up on this is the mapping . If it cant finish the house on one charge it will go back to the base charge and finish where it left off.

At my particular Costco (Leesburg) the coupon was located near the exit wall along with the travel flyers.

Is it possible to use the app features (i.e. mapping) without using the internet and sending them your data?

How much better is this versus the 890? This is my first robot, so wondering if spending extra for the 960 is worth it.

I think the navigation on this is better, but is it much better?

I think this also returns to charge and finish the job if not complete. Where as the 890 wont return to finish if it needs a charge in the middle of cleaning.

Just tried to use a coupon and got denied. Says each shopper is only entitled to redeem the promotion 1 time. I used a different code on tires last week.

The 890 effectively doesn't have navigation. This model does. I would not recommend anyone get a model without navigation personally.
