Think the AA deal with the charger for 15 and change after SS is the better deal.

They have lower amount of charge cycles (Like 1/4 the amount) but the hold more per charge.

I only use them in high powered camera flash. For everything else they seem like overkill, IMHO.

I have never tried these, but Amazon reviewer "NLee the Engineer" says that you are correct and that they are just re-branded Eneloop XX's. He is usually correct.

BTW, NLee also said that the regular Amazon Basics rechargeables were the same as the Eneloops, but I have not found that. Amazon Basics seem to recharge a fewer amount of times before losing capacity. Might just be the packages I tried though.
