After all these years they finally offer a digital version. Never thought I'd see this happen.

Finally. But what format to buy. Doubt iTunes will ever work on Roku and don't really want to buy an Apple TV for this. Though I think iTunes is the best format for longevity and possible 4K.

even so.... bought on DVD a few years ago for ~ $30.00..never watched a single disc. I just stream on Hulu or watch OTA. It'd be a bigger waste of money for me if I bought digital.

Who the puck came up with original price upon which the "85%" off is based ==> $511.29 - Art Vandaley from Vandaley industries? LMAO $79.99 is a steep price for just digital even for this loveliness. I'm going to have to make a U.S. Postal van run of plastic recyclables to MI in order to afford this. Please

P.S. I wonder if HULU is super pissed? They paid a shiny penny for the rights to stream this recently. I wonder if they knew this was also going to happen?

That's why it took so long for this to be released, guess the streaming exclusivity is all they have now.

May want to check out the movies anywhere app/channel on roku it lets you watch iTunes google amazon and vudu library. It could possibly work for this ,no experience with tv shows but movies work.

Movies only for now. No TV.

$80...if only they would port over the DVD extras, I can retire those forever. Has iTunes ever done iTunes Extras for TV shows?

Where is the Blu-ray set?! It's taken them far too long to put out.

In case you might know, regarding Movies Anywhere...I signed up last week along with all 4 services and magically all services show all my blended content (mostly UV, though). This is awesome and super flexible. If an Apple TV is available, so is ALL my content. If Fire TV, all my content. Etc...

BUT, what happens if MA goes belly up? Does everything stay in all my services, or does everything go back to where they came from?

What would be the point of BR on old 80's TV broadcast quality content? Super sharp low res?

Fewer discs. Although I hate that Bluray doesn't do resume. DVD is superior there.

I think it is just an aggregate for all of those digital lockers. But as mentioned before, only movies come through on Movies Anywhere. Crap. I didn't notice the date on this thread. up to $99 now.

It's back to $79.99 on iTunes, not Vudu right now. If it did work like movies anywhere I would definitely buy it, too bad.
