Thanks OP good price on the 1070 laptop! Plus you can get another 4% or 3% cashback from some popular sites today. Not much but it's another 40-50 bucks back.

There are so many. Both 15" and 17" laptops.
Alienware 15r3, 17r4
MSI makes a few.
Asus makes several
This link has a pretty big list.

search on newegg. thunderbolt 3 will cost you $300+ more. so good luck finding it on any brand name laptops under $1700. not sure about microcenter quality. and after tax, that will be ~$200 more than this.

Alienware 15 r3 has those and is consistently under 1700. Lol that's a way high figure you mentioned on a thread that's a month old.

Also Clevo is the maker of that Microcenter laptop, and other than black light bleed, it's a great machine. Tons of US retailers use them, like Eluktronics and SagerNotebook

you need to check prices again. that figure is from a search on newegg right before i posted. that's for a 7th gen i7 gtx 1070 thunderbolt, not 6th gen i7. like for like.

yeah, my bad for bringing up an old post. op made a post the other day and i guess i clicked on the wrong post.

Newegg generally has fair prices, but they certainly aren't the only retailers of laptops with a GTX 1070, Thunderbolt and the 7700HQ/HK processors.

again, that estimate of prices was from right before i posted earlier in the day. and i just used newegg to get a rough idea of prices. sure, you can scour the net searching at several stores. and i never said newegg was the only store selling laptops with those specs.

the point was he wanted all that stuff at an unreasonably low price.

I didn't realize typing GTX 1070 laptop on slickdeals counts as scouring the internet.
Not to mention the post you were referencing wasn't looking for another laptop, they were pointing to one that had all of those features and at the 1300-1400 price point, all from a well known Chinese manufacturer of computers called Clevo.

Lol dude you were wrong. Be grateful that people like me exist because ideally I saved you or actual shoppers hundreds of bucks from buying laptops at MSRP.

nope. don't be so smug. i was merely pointing out that the specs he mentioned are usually found on laptops that retail (aka msrp) for much higher. so you enjoy making assumptions and arguing on the internet, eh? good luck with that. lol.
