Well seeing as coffee lake just came out and it's still kind of hard to find if you want deals you're better staying with sky/kabylake since z370 boards aren't backwards compatible.

Check out ... https://pcpartpicker.com/ ... select Start a system build, choose the MB you want from the list and then any other parts you want and the Compatibility Check will verify that they will work together.

z390 is coming soon. I'd rather wait for that chipset and have upgrade path to 8-core and potentially next lineup. z370 will be even more short-lived than z270.

What Z370 won't support 8 core CPU? I'm confused. Edit: Yes, only supports 6.

Edit: 3 year manufacturer warranty on this, btw.

1st Half 2018. A few months away...I am having to make the same judgement of whether to wait or not.

Alessandroflavio is right. The 8 core processors for mainstream will be releases sooner than expected. The z370 was rushed. If you are not in a hurry sit tight play or work with your current proc. Don't stress over the non available overpriced 8700k and get the 8 core in March/April

I say that but I bough the dell deal to flip it on fleabay. Too good to pass on.

So was the Bose deal. They are some crazy deals lately.
