Great game, but for those of you in relationships... Don't play 1 on 1 with your partner, especially if you are competitive.

The mechanics of Monopoly Deal make it so aggravating to play because it encourages you to take everything from your opponent and the less they have, the easier it is. This lead to us trying to get the ultimate combo: Park Place + Boardwalk + House + Hotel + Double the Rent + Rent card + (if you're lucky, a Just Say No, so they HAVE to pay it)

Basically, you don't play to win, you play to absolutely crush your opponent and rob them of everything, even when you could have won 2 rounds ago.

I loved the board gamw as a kid. This seems like a fun alternative. At this price, definitely worth checking out. Thanks OP!
