Great deal when combined with Chase Freedom 5%. Buy Wal-Mart gift cards with Freedom, earn 5% and use them at Sam's. Nearly 18% off Starbucks gift cards 👍🏼

I don't think CB works on gift card purchases.

You know nothing.

Now, that being said... I only get SB cards with at least 33% off, so pass on this.

Chase and Discover rotating 5% cashback categories don't discriminate against gift cards vs any other purchase when made at a qualifying retailer

Not bad when you combine it with the 5% off from WM w/ Chase, but not great either (17.7% off). I guess I've gotten a bit spoiled with the 50% off deals via Groupon, Outlook, etc. I always stock up when those roll around.

I wish some of you guys could teach my family to only buy Starbucks every month or less...

I thought current Chase Freedom 5% excluded Sam's Club (just includes WM, Neighborhood Market, etc.)?

I've got a pretty good balance too but I almost jumped on this but before realizingI had over 3000 stars over two accounts with all their promos. I need to use those free drinks up before I stock up again. I can always get a minimum of 10% at any given time for Starbucks through Discover.

Buy a gift card at Walmart, use at Sam's Club.
