Not sure why I couldn't find any threads about the Ebay 20% coupon - PSHOPEARLY. But this ultra blu-ray player is cheaper than Black Friday using this coupon. Total cost is $141.60. Plus you get some Ebay bucks to make the deal even sweeter. Best Buy has it at $150 over BF.

Coupon expires 11/20, max discount $50.

And your point being? Not every device has every bell/whistle. It's also not going to have the next feature that's developed tomorrow, either.

This is half the price it has been (and I paid)...and it's still a great player. Very well built. I've had no problems with it at all and the picture is glorious.

If you want a great 4k HDR BDP...this is a great price.

For someone like me who has a 4K TV with no HDR who wants to transition over to buying 4K Blu-rays, this fits the bill perfect! I was able to make use of the 8x Ebay bucks last night too! Down the road, once they get HDR all figured out, I will upgrade to a TV with HDR and a matching 4K player.

Isn't the Oppo the only player that does Dolby Vision right now? That's like a $500 player. If you want to get into 4K, this is an excellent option.

It's not obsolete. Not all 4K TV have Dolby Vision. It's a good deal for those that only have an HDR 4K set.

Not everyone can afford the multi-million dollar theater rooms with all of the latest gadgets as soon as they are released. It's a solid player and this is a good price for it.

It's a good player for 150, even without Dolby Vision. Get over it you guys. Dolby Vision is a proprietary extra that nobody really needs with standard HDR evolving so fast. HDR 10+ will come out next year and it will continue to evolve and be an open standard.

Dolby Vision is the best solution right now. We will see how HDR 10+ turns out. For now, nothing beats DV

Guy I work with has the Oppo and has so many issues trying to get stuff to actually play Dolby Vision. Says you have to start the UHD Disk FIRST and THEN the option to enable is there. UDH is a train wreck...mostly due to HDCP2.2. The UHD spec is only 4:2:0 and HDR10 so calling something without Dolby Vision obsolete is Incorrect. Hardly anything has it and there is no guarantee that it ever will. The best we'll get is 2160p # of pixels and a REC.2020 container that allows us to see the full DCI-P3 spec. In return we get an always-on internet connection required to play slightly better Blurays...

Too bad UHD doesn't require it and support will most likely be low for it
