Best Buy has the Vizio M75-E1 on sale for $1799.

This seems to be a great deal on a 75 inch television.

Probably just a one day sell. Supplies seem limited depending on your location. I managed to get one ordered though.

Pulled the trigger on this set from Costco. Added the 89.99 square trade warranty and used my costco Citi card, which should give me a 6 year total warranty. All in for $ 1,987.76 including tax. Wouldn't have normally purchased an extended warranty, but my (then) top of the line 65" Samsung Plasma from 2013 blew a power supply capacitor this summer and it was next to impossible to get fixed without replacing the whole set. Given vizio's reputation and being built in China, I wanted to be safe. Set looks beautiful at BestBuy

I can't find this deal on Costco's website. What I do find on the Costco website is the lower performing E75 model for $1799.

Do you have a link that shows the M75 for $1799?

Go look at the Sony 850E in person but the picture quality isnt even comparable. Has worse contrast ratio, no local dimming, edge lit, not nearly as bright, overall looks significantly worse. I couldn't tell the difference between the 900E model and the M75-E1 though. The 850E does have 120hz though and a better stand.

WOW! Thank you Mibix!!!!! You are too AWESOME for words. I was going to buy the Vizio 80" E series next week for $2498. But, the higher performing M series for $700 cheaper is very tempting even though it is 5" less in diagonal measurement. Again, thanks so much. Have a great day.

P.S. I sent Costco an email yesterday asking for a $25 off code (for online purchases of $250 or more). I just got a response back, WITH A CODE. Gonna apply it to this TV purchase

For the Slickdeals Pros, do ya'll recommend to wait to see if Costco will discount further, or would you jump on this deal? I tried researching the % of discount from last year and could only find around the 28% mark or basically the same discount as this year around this time ($2500 MSRP - $1799 = 28% discount) Thanks!

Vizio is direct selling this model for the same $1799 price. No shipping charge. But, they do charge tax. So, if you are a Costco member, Costco is a better deal since you get one extra year of warranty protection for free and 3 years of Square Trade for only $89 if you so desire.

B&H is also selling it for $1799. No tax. But they charge shipping! Again, Costco is a probably a better deal if you are a member.

really tricking customer by saying tuner-free displays... you won't be able to watch over the air channels wit this... Vizio can't even advertise this as TV (that's why 'display' in name)

It's not a trick. More and more manufacturers are ditching the coax internals because it is outdated and rarely used in the vast majority of households. You can go the cheap route and purchase a highly rated Mediasonic tuner from Amazon for $35 OR go the better route and purchase a SiliconDust HDHomeRun (both cable version and OTA version on sale at BestBuy at the moment for $104 and $79) respectably. Just make sure your TV supports DLNA or you have a DLNA streaming device such as an Amazon Fire or anything with Kodi on it. You also need solid WiFi for this option.
