Will Costco price match. I bought this for $139 earlier in the month. Don't want the hassle of returning and re buying the remote.

The elite has the option to do IR directly from the remote.

Thanks for posting this info, so the elite will do IR directly and also the hub at the sametime? I have a projector setup with the equipment in a closet, so I need to be able to turn the projector on using IR line of site and then also the hidden stuff in the closet using the hub. Will the Elite work for my setup? I appreciate the help

Though it doesn't need to be in the line of sight, I couldn't get it to work with doors closed.

And apparently many people prefer the button layout on the Elite as compared to the Ultimate. Plus there are dedicated buttons for smart home devices. Logitech also indicated on their forums that the Elite hub has more memory.

Please explain further? What I am saying is, is that the projector will not be hooked to the hub. With most all harmony remotes that work with the hub, they don't have IR, they contact the hub through WiFi and then the hub sends out an IR blast to the equipment, so the actual hub or the ir blaster needs to be in line of site with the equipment. What I need is the remote to be able to use IR and contact the projector while at the sametime using WiFi to contact the hidden equipment in the closet...

You choose in the settings per device which way to send the signal. Either shoot the IR via the remote or the hub.

So does this. The elite has a much nicer layout and build over this which is a travesty of a design considering this is post Harmony One.

How a company goes backwards from their previous designs as well as the popular MX theater master remotes is beyond me.
