Black Friday Samsung TV is now available online at Costco.

Link: https://www.costco.com/Samsung-65...reId=10301

I believe this is the same as the one at Bestbuy for $849 https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sams...Id=6051115

Also, I was able to chat with Costco customer service and able to apply $25 off $250 coupon also. Hope this helps. Final price, $774 + tax.

What's the difference between 6290 and 6300? This one is 6290.

65" 6290 is the the same one Fry's has been selling for $788 since this summer. In fact its on sale today for that price.

I think the difference between 6290 and 6300 is that the 6300 has bluetooth transmit to wireless headphones. That wouldn't matter to me since I have no need to use headphones. the panels are the same on these models.

From rtings.com http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung/mu6300

Quote :
A few retailers have a slightly different variant of the MU6300 on sale for Black Friday with the model names MU6290 or 6 Series Holiday Smart TV. We expect these models to perform similarly to the to the size we've reviewed, with the only differences being slight cosmetic changes and the lack of Bluetooth connectivity.

When will people understand that "4K Ultra HD" is not the model of a TV?

Coming from a 9 year old 50" Samsung Plasma I am pretty sure I'll be happy with this purchase.

$805 with the 5 year warranty is not too bad IMO.

This is a GOOD deal, but not a screaming deal IMO. The deal is that you are buying from Costco, which means 2 years warranty + 2 years additional warranty from the Costco Citi VISA (or likely other cards). Great customer service and easy to return if any issues. Depends on what you value, but those things are important to me. If you value only price, there is probably a better deal out there for 65".

Looked up differences on Samsung website compare feature:

1. 6290 doesn't have ultra clear panel which 6300 has.
2. Voice interaction is not available in 6290.
3. Doesn't have Smart Remote.

So this vs LG at target for $650(ish) - both seem to have comparable specs. Besides the two year warranty, which is better deal? If someone values the 2 yr warranty/extended return at zero, is the price difference justified for Samsung over LG?

BTW is the target TV 15% off deal confirmed? Besides SD, I havent seen it officially advertised.
